November 29, 2012; - Former presidential candidate (and Vulture Capitalist) Mitt Romney lunched at The White House with re-elected President Barack Obama. Details of the lunch were kept from the public, but it is rumored Mitt Romney began the lunch by snacking on an appetizer of sour grapes, before the main course of roast crow, with a side dish of his own words - mashed, and for dessert was served Humble Pie. While the president sated his appetite with good old American Turkey Pot Pie (made from Thanksgiving leftovers) in honor of his special guest.
Vice President Joe Biden contributed a gallon can of Cranberry Sauce, bought during his recent trip to COSTCO, but was not present at the luncheon since he had to go back to COSTCO to return his Kirkland Brand shirts.
Congressman Paul Ryan was asked if he was also invited to lunch, along with Mitt Romney, to which Ryan simply replied, "Mitt who?" ;-)

Here's some serious reporting of the actual event:
QUOTE:
Romney arrived at the White House shortly after noon.
The lunch was closed to reporters but the White House issued a statement after the lunch saying that Romney "congratulated the President for the success of his campaign and wished him well over the coming four years. The focus of their discussion was on America's leadership in the world and the importance of maintaining that leadership position in the future. They pledged to stay in touch, particularly if opportunities to work together on shared interests arise in the future. Their lunch menu included white turkey chili and Southwestern grilled chicken salad."
Romney left just before 2:00 p.m. without comment.
