On November 10th I published a very short article entitled How To Get Inspired?  It was a question, not an answer.  Quite frankly I was bummed out, because of stuff that was going on here on the vine, with my articles.  I was actually wondering if I was wasting my time writing and publishing anything here on Newsvine.  Thank God that was only temporary!

Now I know what inspires me, and I want to share that with you.  

Anything and everything can inspire me to write something to publish here.  News items, pictures, events, people, and even negativity can inspire me.  And when I get inspired I generally go for it.  I write something.  There's no underlying secret agenda, there's just the need to put words to my inspiration and get it published to see what reactions it gets.  I want to know what YOU think of what it is I write and wrote.

I write about a variety of different subjects.  Initially I wrote mostly about politics and my issues with Mitt Romney.  I'm glad that's all over, and that we can move on to a wider array of topics.  I was getting bored with that and him.  But, those other subjects I started writing about brought out a different kind of critic.  A critic I was not totally prepared to deal with.  So it bummed me out.  But, I learned from it too.

And in that learning I was inspired to write a little about my new experiences, and that was interpreted by one such critic as a direct attack from me at him, even though it wasn't and I never ever mentioned his name in anything I wrote.  But, delusion knows no bounds, so he clung to his false delusional belief that I was writing about him.  I was writing about the event, not the person.  I don't give a rip about that person, I care about what I learned from the experience, and that's what I wrote about.

Well, that led to even more experience, and even more for me to learn from, and now even more for me to write about.

Now, I have some friends who have advised me to not write about that person.  And, I agree with them.  I am NOT writing about that person.  But, I will not be limited or restrained about writing about my experiences and what I have learned from my encounters with people here on Newsvine.  And, if that person continues to believe I am writing about him, well, THAT IS HIS PROBLEM!  Not mine.  I will write what I damn well am pleased to write about, and that is my right.

As I said, lots of things inspire me to write, and one of the things that inspire me greatly is when there is conflict here on the Newsvine.  And, the way some people handle conflict.  And, the way different personalities seem to come out of people during such conflicts.  And the different tactics these personalities use in such conflict.

I don't like conflict!  

I don't like it here on Newsvine with the comments posted to my articles.  I don't like it in real life with real people.  But, I realize that conflict is a part of life.  It's all around us.  This ain't no hunky-dory world we live in.  I wish it were, but it ain't!!!

So I have been inspired again to write about a tactic or trait, however you want to view it, that has come from a conflict here on Newsvine.  Again, perhaps it won't do any good to state this, but I will  state this just the same.  I am NOT writing my next article about any particular person.  I am writing about an event. A situation. A tactic and a perceived reason for the use of that tactic.  I could apply the tactic to any number of people here on Newsvine who I have seen use similar tactics and display similar personality traits over the past 2 years and 9 months I have been a member of Newsvine.  Most of the occurrences of this particular tactic and trait I witnessed on what I still refer to as The Dark Side of the Newsvine.  That is the side that is mostly about news articles and comments, and not about the kind of articles we write and publish here on this, The Light Side of Newsvine.  However, I will say, the impetus of this article now is based on recent events that reminded me of past similar situations.

Let me just say again, for the sake of clarity.  There is NO HIDDEN AGENDA HERE or in my next article or my previous articles.  

I write what I write because I have a right to write, whether I am right or wrong about what I write.  If somebody doesn't like what I write, then that's just fine.  

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.  But NOBODY, absolutely NOBODY is entitled to tell me why I have written what I have written.  So, don't even go there.

Lot's of stuff inspires me to write and publish my articles here on the Newsvine.  When I start letting other people tell me what I can and cannot write about, that's when I will quit writing here and go somewhere else.  

If something inspires YOU to write an article, I say GO FOR IT!  Don't let anyone tell you what you should or shouldn't be writing.  Okay?
