We all remember how it was when we first started here, so think back to those good old days, and think... If only someone had told me this, I'd never have done that! Then tell us what you did!!! Come on... dish!!! Okay?

This article is just to let you know that as of tonight, November 2, 2012, there is a New Group on Newsvine, designed specifically to help New Newsviners to have a source for information about  how things work here.  It is called

Welcome Wagon 4 New Newsviners

Okay, the idea for this group was inspired by a new Newsviner, who asked questions about how to do things here on Newsvine. Well, I had asked many of those same questions and wrote about some of them, and thought, I need to make it easier for new folks like that Rookie Newsviner to read that stuff. It might help. So, here it is.

You can JOIN our group if you are:

1. a new Newsviner, and want to read this info, and along the way maybe you can share some of your own discoveries, insights, tips and tricks with the rest of us through your own articles or comments.

or

2. are an old Newsviner who has stuff you want to share with the Rookies to help them out. Stuff like articles you've written, answers you can provide to their comments and questions, your favorite tips, special tricks, Newsvine advice, and WARNINGS are all welcome as long as they are CoH and Newsvine User Agreement compliant. You know the deal on that!

NO POLITICAL STUFF now or ever in this group. (It doesn't fit here.)

Do you have any basic wisdom you want to share with the Rookie Newsviners right now?  Then by all means, leave your sage advice here now in a comment below.
